A 3 cake road ride to Skipton and using some canal towpath on the return.
The route out beyond Cononley entails some hill practise but the views are fantastic and there are lots of options for a good lunch break in Skipton to restore energy levels.
The return journey involves a section on a busier road out of Skipton before joining the canal to Kildwick and then using the underpass to pass Paceline cycle shop/cafe before returning via Steeton and Utley.
A route for the rider more confident with traffic and includes a couple or roundabouts.
